Community Clean-up Day

Warren Township/Barnesville Community Clean-up Day on Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Depot parking lot, 358 Mulberry St.
Items accepted will include old appliances, house and lawn furniture, carpeting, household electronics (including televisions), plastic riding and climbing toys, fixtures, mirrors, windows, doors, household batteries, car batteries and standard car or light truck tires (limit 10 per vehicle by Environmental Protection Agency regulations). Loose materials should be bagged to allow vehicles through the line in a timely manner. All acceptable items will be recycled or taken for proper disposal at no cost.
This year, mattresses and box springs will not be accepted, JB Green Team is working on arranging a separate collection date for those items.
Other items not accepted include semi-truck, industrial or agricultural tires, rimmed tires (they are not equipped to remove rims), paint, liquids, fluorescent tubes, ballasts or other hazardous waste, and no organic waste such as leaves, tree and bush trimmings and no diapers. Concrete block or brick will not be accepted.
