As President of the Chamber of Commerce and a local business owner, I welcome you to Barnesville. Our Village is a wonderful destination that has a multitude of amenities. Whether it be our antique stores, craft shops, numerous restaurants, or an old fashioned hardware store. Barnesville is a welcome change from the big shopping mall. We have a world class library and a beautiful community park, local newspaper, a radio station, and a state of the art hospital. We even have an airport!
In September, Barnesville’s Annual Pumpkin Festival plays host to thousands of people who come for the parade, car show, and to see the King Pumpkin contest. Our town boasts over 200 years of history with its Victorian houses, B&O Railroad Depot, a museum, and churches dating as far back as 1902.
The Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce has served and supported the business and professional community for 81 years. We hope our efforts have contributed to the vibrant economy and community spirit you will find in Barnesville.
In closing, our biggest asset is our residents. Friendly and helpful, the people of Barnesville will make your visit memorable.
