Bruggeman heads Barnesville Chamber in 2022

Bruggeman, who was a member of the chamber’s board of directors this past year, takes over the reins from John Rataiczak, vice president and banking center manager of the Barnesville WesBanco office. Rataiczak, chamber president for the past four years, will serve as a board member in 2022.
Also serving on the board for the coming year are Clay Bethel of Bethel Insurance, Helen Carpenter of Woodsfield Savings Bank, Donna Nelson-Gilson of the Emerald Pointe Health and Rehabilitation, Jamie Helmick of the Walton Retirement Home and Nancy Mayo of From the Heart Photography.
Retiring board members who are thanked for their service are Joel Braido of Braido Memorials and Bill Steedle of Belmont Dodge.
Jill Hissom will continue to serve the organization as director.
Major events for the organization in 2022 include: Chicken BBQ, July 2; Super Sidewalk Sale, August 4; Barnesville Pumpkin Festival, September 22-25; Lighting of the Village Christmas Tree, December 1; Christmas Market and Lighted Christmas Parade, December 3.
The first meeting of the year is slated for Wednesday, January 12 at Noon at the New Life Center, 219 West Church Street, sponsored by member Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration.
